School Buildings & Pavilion
London Screen Academy at Camden Film Quarter
The London Screen Academy (LSA) will play a key role at Camden Film Quarter, bringing education, creativity and opportunity into the heart of the development.
LSA is a free sixth form for 16–18 year olds, focused on preparing young people for careers in film, television and the wider creative industries. Its presence at Camden Film Quarter helps create clear pathways into these careers, particularly for local students.
The school is located at the entrance to the site from Regis Road, next to Inkerman Fields and opposite the main film studios. This prominent position is intentional, it creates a welcoming front door to the neighbourhood and reflects the ambition for Camden Film Quarter to be open, inclusive and connected to the local community.
By being based within Camden Film Quarter, students will be learning alongside a working film and television environment. This gives them real insight into how the industry operates and helps bridge the gap between education and employment.
Alongside the main school building, there will be a new pavilion and community space designed for both students and local residents. This flexible space will be used for workshops, events and activities, helping to bring people together.
The pavilion roof will also be used as an active space for performances, screenings and events, creating a lively destination that extends beyond the school day. Beneath it, a cinema space will be available for community use outside term time, offering opportunities for local screenings, workshops and cultural events.
Overall, the School Building and Pavilion bring education and community together in one place — helping local young people access new opportunities, while creating spaces that can be shared and enjoyed by the wider neighbourhood.
